Freehold Township Independent Fire Company is proud to announce our involvement in Movember. Movember or No-Shave-November is a tradition for Men to show their support for those who received a diagnosis of confirmed Prostate Cancer.
This November a group of our firefighters will be growing out their facial hair, mustaches to be precise. We are participating in this event to raise the awareness of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men, but it can often be treated successfully. The treatment is expensive, so this year we are raising money to be donated to the cancer center at Centrastate Medical Center located in our home town of Freehold New Jersey. Each Firefighter will be donating their own money as well as helping with raising money to be donated.
